Ledger Nano S & Nano X Hardware Issues: Charging, Display, and Battery
Connect your Ledger hardware wallet to the Ledger Live app and manage Bitcoin, Ethereum, and hundreds of other assets in one secure, easy‑to‑use dashboard.
Ledger Nano X Not Charging
If your Ledger Nano X not charging, review this checklist:
• Use the original USB cable supplied with your device.
• Try a different USB port on your computer or another power adapter.
• Carefully inspect the charging port for dust, dirt, or visible damage.
• Keep the device plugged in for at least 1–2 hours before drawing conclusions.
If it still will not charge, contact official Ledger Live Support to discuss repair or replacement possibilities.

Ledger Nano X Screen Not Working
A Ledger Nano X screen not working can be unsettling, but there are a few things to try:
• Connect the Nano X to your computer and check whether Ledger Live detects the device.
• If the app can see the wallet but the screen is blank or frozen, open a support request.
• Do not type your recovery phrase into any website, phone, or computer to “fix” the issue.
Any wallet restoration should be done only on a genuine Ledger device.
Ledger Nano X Battery Issue
If you’re experiencing a Ledger Nano X battery issue, such as rapid discharge or the battery not holding a charge:
• Update your device firmware using the Ledger Live app.
• Test with a different cable and USB power source.
• Use the device while it’s connected to power if the battery is weak.
• If the behavior does not improve, contact Ledger Live Support for further evaluation.
For Ledger Nano S devices, battery problems are rare because they draw power directly from USB, but damaged cables or ports can still lead to connection issues.
